What can I expect at my visit?
First of all, don't worry. We are here to help and we want you to be as comfortable as possible. Our entire process is designed to put you at ease so that we can address your problem.
Evaluation and Treatment Methods
In our pursuit of providing quality and effective care, each patient is given a 1 hour treatment session. During the evaluation process, the time is taken to truly listen to the patient and obtain a thorough medical history in order to fully understand the patient’s symptoms and complaints. Furthermore an extensive musculoskeletal evaluation process is completed to identify the cause of the symptoms. Treatment sessions may include all or any of the following: Patient education, manual therapy and myofascial techniques, One on One training in proper muscle recruitment and coordination, SEMG biofeedback, postural assessment and training, and progression of an appropriate exercise program.
What about insurance?
Cornerstone Pelvic Health and Wellness is an in network provider with select commercial insurance companies as well as Medicare and Tricare. If we are out of network with your insurance company, you may still use flexible spending funds or your Health Savings account to pay for the session. Please call the office for further questions regarding insurance and cash pay options.
