What can I expect at my visit?

First of all, don't worry. We are here to help and we want you to be as comfortable as possible. Our entire process is designed to put you at ease so that we can address your problem. 


What do your evaluation and treatment methods consist of?

In our pursuit of providing quality and effective care, each patient is given a 1 hour and 15 minute treatment session. During the evaluation process, the time is taken to truly listen to the patient and obtain a thorough medical history in order to fully understand the patient’s symptoms and complaints. Furthermore an extensive musculoskeletal evaluation process is completed to identify the cause of the symptoms. Treatment sessions may include all or any of the following: Patient education, manual therapy and myofascial techniques, One on One training in proper muscle recruitment and coordination, SEMG biofeedback, postural assessment and training, and progression of an appropriate exercise program. 


Do you accept health insurance?

Cornerstone Pelvic Health and Wellness is an in-network participating provider with Anthem BlueCross/BlueShield PPO plans and Medicare as well as a Certified provider with Tricare. If we are out of network with your insurance company, you may still use flexible spending funds or your Health Savings account to pay for the session. Please call the office for further questions regarding insurance and cash pay options.
